Birds Of a Feather (BOF) sessions provide informal forums for conference attendees to discuss topics of mutual interest. BOFs are open to all conference attendees, and whether you have a vague interest or expert knowledge, all participation is welcomed. BOF organisers themselves can be anyone who attends the conference, you don't have to be a speaker. BOFs can be organized for individual projects or broader topics (best practices, open data, standards, key signing). BOFs are entirely up to you. If you have an idea for a BOF please feel free to add it to the list.
Normally BOFs take place after the main conference each day and carry on into various pubs and bars later in the evening. However, we are also going to have some time during the conference for people to schedule some short BOFs in the workshop room during quite moments during the day. After the main conference, the workshop room and both lecture rooms will be available until 7pm for BOFs. After which time you'll need to make arrangements to continue in a pub/bar/restaurant/hotel.
The organiser can post details on the wiki before the conference and we'll help to arrange where and when nearer the conference itself. Daily schedules for the BOFs will be posted on the conference notice board, and announced each morning in the Main Concert Hall.
